Burial Funeral Services

Sydney is home to a wide variety of cultures, religions, and beliefs. We are experienced in arranging burial funeral services that reflect and honour all backgrounds and traditions. We also work closely and respectfully with all clergy and places of worship to ensure that the funeral is conducted accordingly.

There are a few different burial funeral services options:

Place of worship service followed by a burial funeral service

This is a funeral conducted in a place of worship. After the funeral service the mourners that wish to attend the burial will follow the hearse to the cemetery. This type of funeral is often referred to as a dual service, as there are two services conducted; the venue followed by the cemetery.

Cemetery chapel service followed by burial service

This is a burial funeral service conducted in a private chapel on the cemetery grounds. Cemetery chapels usually have audio visual equipment, parking on site and function rooms for hosting a wake afterwards.
After the funeral service the mourners that wish to attend the burial will follow the hearse a short distance to the burial site. This type of funeral is often referred to as a dual service, as there are two services conducted; the chapel followed by the burial.

Graveside Burial Funeral Service

This is a funeral service conducted at the burial site, and is considered a single stand alone service. The hearse can meet the family at the cemetery office, and the family can choose to follow the hearse to the burial site, alternatively the hearse can meet the family directly at the burial site. The service will be held once the coffin is placed above the grave.
